Ebuka Obi, Zion Ministry to hold 2024 Int’l crusade in Imo

Imo State has been announced as the host state for the 2024 World Conference of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach

The Spiritual Director, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, announced that the three-day crusade would be held at Ngor Okpala, Imo State, from Friday, August 23, to Sunday, August 25.

It is the first time the annual conference will be held outside Lagos, and the crusade will mark the end of the 100 Days Fast and Prayer by the ministry.

Evangelist Obi explained that going by last year’s experience, Zion Ground in Lagos would not be able to accommodate the huge crowd expected to attend this year’s edition, necessitating the need to move it to Ngor Okpala where the ministry had acquired a much larger site as its permanent site

He added that the crusade was expected to record thousands of people giving up their lives to Christ, awesome miracles, instant healings, deliverance from bondage, salvation of souls and verifiable testimonies.

The announcement has elicited reactions from Zion followers who said the grace of God upon the life of Obi has touched countless lives globally. One of his adherents, Chibueze Eugene Ike, popularly known as Akunatakasi, said he was among those whose lives had been positively transformed by God through the evangelist.

According to him, he came to Zion shattered, battered, and broken from the challenges of life.

He revealed that he came to Zion wearing the only cloth he possessed at the time. But, after his encounter with Evangelist  Obi, he is now one of the notable billionaires in the Zion Ministry. He is now a known philanthropist helping the poor.

Another lady who attends the Zion Ministry, Mrs Favour Joseph, said she and her siblings were having various challenges and stagnant fortunes until she heard about Obi’s ministry and went there to seek help.

She said: “When I met Evangelist Obi and narrated my travails and those of my siblings, he said we were suffering as a result of ancestral yoke. He asked me to bring my siblings so we could pray and break the ancestral yoke.

“I told my brother and my two sisters and they came down to Lagos from Kaduna and Port Harcourt. He prayed for us after we fasted for five days. That was how he broke the ancestral yoke and since then, everyone of us has been doing well. One of my sisters got married last December; my brother got a travel visa to Canada last month, while my other sister is getting married next month. My business, which had almost collapsed, is booming again.”

Mr Philip Nwasuka also testified that Obi prayed for him over his business and his goods that were seized by the Customs at the Tin Can Port, Apapa, Lagos, were released. I invested millions of Naira to import goods from China and my goods were seized by operatives of the Customs for six months. My world crumbled. I went to the man of God, and he prayed for me. Less than two weeks after the prayer, all my goods were released by the Customs. Obi is a true man of God,” he declared.
